I feed Kent live rabbits so PETA cancelled my gold card. So you want to go on record saying it is totally to kill the greyhounds after you are done racing them?

Why are you are concerned what happens, your not in the industry, you are not the greys owners, so what rights do you have to tell them what to do with their dogs. If you are so concerned with the greys, why don't you do something to stop all these so called killings back at the farms. I am concerned about what happens because I care about the dogs..... ALL of them. I am not telling owners what to do with them. I am simply trying to set the record straight so that people will be able to make their own judgements about greyhound racing based on fact rather than fiction. And since there appears to be no way to control the number of greyhounds killed after racing, then the only thing left to do is support the ending of the sport. The greyhounds will not vanish. Jay

I am not the dog owners, so they can do what they want. If it was me, I would adopt them or keep them on my farm as a pet.

Well we are to these people. The words 'animal care' don't seem to be in their dictionary

What is your point Galty? I suppose we could show the HBO special to anyone who feels bad about the dogs in your video and tell them it happens all the time as well.

Of course it is. :o :o :o You will never and cannot see the point. PETA is more honest then you. Jay am suprised at you IT does happen all the time but you ignore it because your focus is on Greyhounds and not all the other breeds.

There is one big difference though. If the owners of those shelter dogs were turning around and breeding/buying hundreds more with the full intention of dumping them before they reached the age of 5, I would be on their butts just as much as greyhound owners. We have laws that limit the number of dogs people can own to prevent this sort of thing from happening more than it already does. If the shelters were not there to take these animals (nor adopton groups to take greyhounds) I would hate to imagine what their fate may be.

The Puppies mill breeders when they cannot sell the pups either just smash there heads against rocks or dump them at a pound, a lot of thoses dogs where not even 5 months old let alone five years. PETA makes a very good point, if animals where not kept as pets or working then there would be no abuse. These where puppies been put down where do you think they came from. Animals are abused because we own them, people like you seem to be selective in trying to stop the abuse.
