Hi out there! I'm new to this board but not to greyhounds. I had 3 until exactly 4 weeks ago when I lost my best friend, Shawn, unexpectedly. I still miss him terribly and my home is very lonely and quiet without him. He retired from the track two years ago at the age of 5 and I learned that even though he wasn't racing at the track, he had no intention of retiring and I began to learn about lure coursing. He was a courser and a good one until this last year, which I found out was because of the tumor.

I have my other two greyhounds, Andy and Josh who are both around 8 years old and I love dearly. I also have two cats at home as well. Let's see, what else do people on this board want to know? My hounds and I live in Texas, just north of Houston.

I'm looking forward to becoming an active member of this board.
