Hi all. I was on here briefly awhile back and Tom graciously asked me to come and visit more often so I thought I'd introduce myself! I recognize many of the faces around here, and am looking forward to meeting the rest of you!
My name is Trish Dumais and I am a sighthound addict. There, I've admitted it. They say that is the first step! I am a grey mom to two big ole boys and a wee girl Whippet. Billy and Thunder (my hounds) are moving into thier Sr. years and my whippet is a 6 year old retired broodmom from Poisiden Whippets in Bragg Creek, AB. She was given into my care when I met, well
, stalked Micheal Dennison, her breeder. :o
Thunder is 9 years old and Billy is 7. I am also a FTH preadopter, although I am having a very hard time deciding WHO I am preadopting! LOL! My first choice Ace proved to be a handful so unless he races for another year or so, I am not sure he'll be accepted into my older (read grumpier) pack! Thunder is not in great health, he recently had 26 teeth removed (he came to me as a bounce and the previous owners did not believe in dental or vet care), so my loyalty has to be with him and an energetic 3 year old might not wash! hehe! I am a huge fan of Follow that Hound, I believe what Cathie, Bill and Chris have built there is amazing!
So I guess that is all there is about me. Oh yeah, I've been known to make a martingale or two also! I try not to pimp myself on these boards too much- nicer to keep them as fun and not work!
