My name is Tina and here is my story:
I got my first grey in 1997 and since then they just seemed to mulitply!
Our first was Joey, my sweet boy, he was my first love. The reason we adopted other greys. He was silly, he made me laugh. I needed that at the time.
I got Misty on me and Joey's 5th anniversay. Misty is sweet, and loves to cuddle, and very bratty, you have to love her!!! I found Misty's racing owners from the NGA web site and we became quick friends. These are owners that TRULEY care, and they keep in constant contact with us.
Joey got sick and we knew Misty would not be a good "only child" she has severe SA!! We asked Misty's racing owners if they had another coming up for adoption, they had a few, but thought Captain would be a good fit, he was a shy white male. Well it was love at first site for us!! Sad to say Captain didn't make it home before by beloved Joey passed, it was bitter sweet when we were able to bring him home.
We love Cappy so much we wanted one just like him and again we asked the owners who they had in mind. This time it was a big blue brindle boy! We waited 9 months for him! He just kept winning and winning, then there was the kennel cough going around, we brought him him home a year ago and he is the perfect fit to our family, big and goofy!!! 3 is enough....
Until a trip to the kennel and there we see Cappy's mommy!! Middy was 7 years old and fresh off the farm and very shy!! Not a good candidate for adoption. We took her out of her cage and she just fit in, every one was shocked at how wonderfuly she fit it, she was considered a big spook and she seemed at home with the rest of the pack, talk about FATE!!!
Things are great, Middy has come out of her shell, every thing is PERFECT!!! We are jus a big happy family!!!
Glad I found this site!!
