With the hurricane damage it is feared that gas prices will soar to over$6.00 a gallon for gas and some gas stations down south already have their prices that high. What will we do here in the US since we depend heavily on driving everywhere. Also, will our goods go up too sicnce most of it is hauled in by truckers?

You have amazingly cheap prices in America. England is horrendous. It costs me £40 to fill up my tank. I have a VW Beetle. :(

How much is that is US dollar? Yesterday, there was a gas scare in Maryland that the state would run out of gas by 4pm EST. So, there were lines, lines, lines at the pump with people panicing. The governor said that this was a rumor and not true...
