I really don't understand all the hoot about this movie. Its only a movie and the writer's imagaination. I have read about people protesting this movie and telling others to boycott Sony products and never watch another Tom Hank's movie. I think its all very silly. Yes, I am catholic and attend church. I respect my religion but, I find movies and books like these very interesting, just as I find history interesting. I must say, its gets the mind wondering, and asking what if? The novel which was written by Dan Brown, I found to be a very intresting and entertaining fiction, which he wrote in the beginning of the novel, this is a ficitional story. I say, if it gets you upset, don't go to see it, again, its just a movie. I plan on seeing it, I like Tom Hanks, I think he is a good actor. Speaking of movies. I heard that Hollywood is rereleasing the movie, The Omen, on June 6. Now, talk about a thriller movie. I read the book and saw the movie and it gave me the goosebumps and it made you wonder, this could really happen, makes you think. I couldn't put that book down. Now, talk about silly mothers to be. I heard that women who are expected to give birth in the beginning of June, are asking their O.B. docs to induce their labor so there child is not born on June 6. I think this is so silly. Ladies, have you lost your minds!! :o Oh, and yes I plan on watching the Omen again. Nothing like a good thrill seeker!! :o

DH and I just saw the movie yesterday and we both read the book several years ago. We both like the movie very much, not the best movie I have ever seen but certainly enjoyable. It was interesting that most ppl we have spoken to have liked the movie the most if they had read the book. It can be a bit confusing if you hadn't. I also think it is funny that the Catholic Church seems so bugged about the movie,,,,but not the book. It is a sad statement that the feeling must be that the movie would reach more ppl. Personally, I would take a good read over a movie any day!
I also love Audrey Tautou!!!
