Since Spring has arrived, here is a small list of household dangers, I'm sure you can add more to the list below:
Dryers Washing machines Hot stoves (including ovens and Bar-Be-Ques) Built-in pools , rivers, steams, and lakes Dental floss Many household plants Refrigertors, freezers Needles and thread Toys with string or elastic Certain pet treats Cords from blinds and curtains, drapes Open doors and windows Filing cabinets Lit candles and buring incense Plastic bags Household cleaners Spiders and other possible dangerous insects Bug spray, tanning lotions, creams Crispy plastic Medicine bottles Rubberbands Boiling water Weed treatment for the lawn Thumb tacks Strangers
Just an F.Y.I. I'm sure there are more that can added to the list. Enjoy the warm wheather and the great outdoors. ;D

In OUR house, I would add to that list:
GUITAR PICKS
My husband is always leaving guitar picks around everywhere. One of our cats has a habit of carrying them in her mouth and then dropping them in the cats' water dish. Why, I do not know. ::)

Guitar picks that makes sense. I stated because I have read stories of cats and other small animals getting into the dyer not being noticed, the owner turns on the dyer and the cat or small animal dies. It was reported on three differnt occassions. Scary stuff, its like child proofing your home, yet, it must be done to keep the little critters safe and sound.

LOL, I think I am the biggest danger in this household. Stepping on toes all the time.

LOOSE CHANGE on the floor! That's another thing. My DH is always dropping loose change. I grab it if I see it. If his money doesn't mean that much to him I'm taking it off the floor and keeping it. Oh and I also clean him out when I do his laundry.
:)
Our crazy Tortie cat Samantha (she's the one who drops the guitar picks in the water bowl) also does this with pennies. Again....why, I don't know.
