Derby Lane features the 10th annual T. L. Weaver Memorial Challenge-the final 550-yard stakes of the season this Saturday night, June 10. Last year, Campbell Greyhound Racing scored the win with JR's Flashy (JR's Proud-Ice Princess). RL Wild Cat is this year's hopeful for a stakes repeat. CTW Bigrighauler, a veteran in stakes race finals, has been installed as the early favorite from the rail post. Bigrighauler is the only one among the field that was entered in the Derby Lane Million where he competed in four rounds, respectfully.
The T. L. Weaver Memorial stakes will be featured in race eight of the 15-race card Saturday night. Post time is approximately 9:30 PM, EST. The stakes race is the final 550-yard stakes of the racing season. The 2005-2006 season concludes on June 30.
