Mile High Racing & Entertainment Kicks off 2006 Racing Season with Revitalization Plans; BLB Investors Creates New ''Mile High'' Racing Experience for Coloradoans
AURORA, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 22, 2006--Mile High Racing & Entertainment, formerly Wembley Colorado, will kick off the 2006 racing season with a new name and a new vision for change to stimulate renewed excitement among Colorado residents and drive greater revenue gains for local economies. Under new management, Mile High has invested significant resources to enhance its five Colorado-based properties to provide premium racing action and family entertainment.
Mile High, acquired by BLB Investors, LLC in July 2005, consists of five properties, including Arapahoe Park, Havana Park, Mile High Greyhound Park, Post Time Greyhound Park and Pueblo Greyhound Park. Over the past year, Mile High and BLB have developed a refreshed, long-term vision to support racing in Colorado that includes further property development, more family-centric events and activities, a kids' activity room, enhanced customer services and greater community involvement.
