Hi all, some of you may know me as Galgomum from other boards.
Robin was so kind to invite me over since I started missing certain people at other places.As my other name tells, I am the proud mom of a Spanish galgo, but also a lurcher, galgo/bordercollie mix, an afghan and last but not least our greyhound.
To be quit honest, my main reason to post on greyhound boards is to raise awareness about the awefull situation of the galgo's in Spain. This may sound funny on a greyhound board for people who don't know the galgo, but if you have the luck to meet one, you'll find out they are just smaller greyhounds in nature and looks.
So I hope te be able to talk open and honest here without having to put everything in a layer of hapiness.

Hello Petra and welcome aboard! I love seeing and hearing stories about the Galgos and the people that give their all for them. They are such beautiful creatures. It breaks my heart to hear and see the stories of abuse over in Spain put upon these beautifully natured dogs. Looking forward to reading your posts.

Glad you made it here, and I have a lot of respect for the work you are doing with the Galgos in Spain. I met one in August and they are wonderful and gentle dogs.

Thanks for the welcome.
And ehhh, I am just a little part of a group that supports Scooby.
As for discussions, since I am in Europe, I will stay out of the AR/PR discussions since I have no way of knowing if the info I get overhere is right or wrong.
If I step into it, it will be from direct experience I have with the european greys or galgo's.
