I knew it was coming. The owner of the rescue has wanted rid of her for a long time, the manager and staff have always been against it...but at the end of the day her word goes. Alli has been with us for a long long time now and was very stressed in the kennels. She was also incredibly dog aggressive and if re-homed would not have been able to be walked or anything. But she was such a special, sweet girl. She didn't deserve this life. 4yrs old shouldn't be the end, it should be the beginning. I can't put into words the pain and sadness everyone who knew her is feeling right now. I haven't been able to stop crying all day. Alli was a special girl who needed a special home that no one was willing to offer her. The kennels feels almost empty without her, she was such a character. I especially remember Christmas day; I went down and we lit a fire in the field, I sat with her by it for hours, sharing carrot sticks (she goes wild for carrots!)...I can't tell you how awful I feel that I couldn't do more for her. Goodbye my beautiful girl
