Saffie the sweet Beagle mix came into the rescue center at 7yrs old for biting her owner, who can blame her, he beat to a pulp. She was such a lovely dog with the staff in the shelter that they let her go to an old lady...a few months down the line and the old lady who knew Saffie bit strange men let her bite the gas man...so back into the kennels she went. She then got re-homed again and was doing brilliantly until she attacked the other dog...back to the kennels for poor old Saffie...once again she was re-homed, we herd nothing from them and assumed everything was okay...then we go a phone call yesterday saying she has bitten the neighbor while he was fixing the fence and he has threatened to sue unless she was put down...so she came back to the kennels for the final time today and was put to sleep at 2:30 this afternoon. RIP sweet girl   |

God speed Saffron.... ;) So unfair that she had to start life off with not knowing love...just beatings...no wonder she bit, she was afraid of everyone ...
