It is with great sadness that I post on behalf of Trish and Tom.
Annie crossed to the rainbow bridge last night shortly after Trish arrived at the vet to visit her. She was not in any pain but her poor body had been through engouh and unfortunately couldn't rebound.
Trish and Tom are so heartbroken, but can rest assured that Annie is no longer in pain and is whole again to run like the wind.
We all loved Annie so, she was such a spunky little thing that had no problem telling off her brother and sisters when they annoyed her or were in a spot she felt should only belong to her. A beautiful cow dog who was fortunate enough to end up with wonderful parents to spoil her rotten. She wasn't with Trish and Tom long enough, but I knew when they said they were only fostering her and I saw how gaga Tom was over her they were doomed to adopt, they were in denial for a while but when they were told someone may be interested in Annie, well I knew that wouldn't happen so Annie was quickly adopted by them.
I was fortunate enough to greysit Annie a few times and absolutely loved every minute of it. She was such a cuddle bug and loved all the ear scritches you could give. I am so happy to have been given the opportunity to be an awe struck Aunt to sweet Annie and will miss her terribly.
I love you Annie.....until we are all reunited again. I hope you have fun at the bridge with the other pups and be sure to send us a rainbow when you can to let us know you are . Don't you worry about mommy and daddy, I'll look after them for you and I'm sure they will explain to your fur brother and sisters that you have been called away to do other work, your mission here was complete.
Godspeed pretty girl ;) Trish and Tom I am very sorry for your loss, sending prayers to help heal your borken hearts.
