although perhaps it is better!
I say this only because I initiated the Amber Alert on "the other board." It is much preferred to have a centralized place to post this critical aspect of a grey's life.
For those unaware- the Amber Alert forum was initiated in Oct '04. To date, there have have been over 150 lost greys reported. We have had mostly successful results (Gus is a good example). There have also been the heart-wrenching ones- twenty found dead since December alone.
Of course I would ask that any lost lost grey be listed here, but I would also request that it be posted on the Amber Alert on Greytalk. EYES are the key to their survival.
It's all about our beloved breed.

Hi Ed.....when Candy from Toms River, NJ, was missing last year we received so much support and help from the Amber Alert on GT. Thank God Candy was found 3 days later caught in some trees and shrubs in the park where she got lost. Other than being scared and some cuts and a little frost bite on her feet she was fine. Thank you so much for initiating something so very, very important. The information provided could literally mean life or death for our precious hounds who rely on us protect them and take care of them.
You rock!! :)

Are we up to date on any missing greys? If so, all I can say is: ;D Diana
