I think most of y'all know we don't have a GH....and no it's not an option any time soon, the DH is against adopting any more animals (we have 4 cats and 3 small dogs). I wanted one, he said no, I thought it was because of size, I was wrong (I also tried to get him to agree to an Iggy and he said no). Anyway, my friend John (of CrazyCollars) is my hairstylist friend who makes collars on the side, and he is the one who is responsible for my starting to paint animals, and GH's in the first place...he asked me if I could paint animals in January of 2005, I said I didn't know, he asked me to try some GH's, for his collars store, and the rest is history!
John and I were co-workers when I was still doing hair, and our schedules are really different, and although he doesn't live far away, it seems that he does, at times, lol! Anyway I went over for a visit this week and he let me take some shots of his sweetie pie Savannah, to paint from if I ever want. John always says "She's a mess!" LOL. She is a jumper, and I am really small, so she could knock me down easily. She's a lovebug. Once she gets over the excitement of a visitor, she calms down though. She kept leaning against me while he and I were sitting by his pool, chatting. It was hard to get a photo of her because she kept sticking her face in my lap, butt, etc. It's like she knew I had a camera....and every time I tried to take a photo she just put her face in mine. LOL. She kept lying down in great poses but then I'd pull the camera out and she'd jump up again and come towards me. Anyway, here are the shots I took. She's a sweetie. :P
The Greyhound eyes just mesmerize me, as always, and I love how affectionate she is. And I kept playing with her ears....those fluffy weird/pretty GH ears are so cool.
So....here's Savannah! :)
She's in mid-getting-up in the first shot, LOL!
