I hope all will be safe at the Ebro track and all the greyhounds and people will be safe.

I don't think any of the panhandle tracks are running as they are seasonal. However, there are still dogs at Ebro waiting for the kennel compound to open at Sarasota as the Sarasota season begins the end of the month. I think the compound opens the 15th. The dogmen and women are hunkered down with the dogs and the kennels are the safest place to be. They were built to withstand a category 5 hurricane and they will be tested with Michael being a cat 4 at 145 mph. If there are still dogs at Pensacola the same will be done.
many times the kennel people take their family into the kennels because they are safer than the homes they live in. You always hope all is well and it always has been.
In September 2017 with Hurricane Irma bearing down on Florida all the kennels were making their preparations to hunker down with the pups. However, Carey had another idea. He thought it was good idea to try and trash the greyhound industry for not doing the what was best for the dogs and moving them out of Florida. He had no plan in his newspaper article about how to move 8,000 dogs out of Florida and where to bring them. Like Grey2k and the HSUS always do they leave those details to us.
This was nothing but a donation grab and i answered him with this.
The Face of Evil
Since the beginning of time humans have disagreed on anything and everything, but at the end of the day when disaster strikes or is about to strike most people extend a hand and offer help. It is part of what we are as human beings, it is part of of the core values most of us grew up with, it is part of our soul.
However, there are always the few, the minority of people, that are pure evil.
They are the face of evil
The face of evil tells you they are the protectors of greyhounds, yet they don't protect. When possible danger or disaster is imminent the face of evil is sitting far away from the imminent danger telling everyone that will listen, the newspapers and the minions, how bad the real protectors of the greyhounds are.
The face of evil talks about moving over 6000 greyhounds with no plan to move them. Where will the greyhounds go? How are they getting there? The face of evil that will tell you they are the great protector of greyhounds, yet wants to put the greyhounds in harms way by trying to move them.
The face of evil told you there was no plan for the greyhounds to be evacuated and they were partially right. There never was a plan to evacuate the greyhounds because the real protectors know you can't evacuate 6000 greyhounds. There was always a plan and that plan was to do what has been done for 90 years. Keep the greyhounds in place, hunker down with them and hope what has worked for so many years works again.
There is never a guarantee that a plan will work, but what is guaranteed is moving 6000 greyhounds will never work.
The face of evil is trying to profit and collect donations while the real protectors of greyhounds are hunkering down with the dogs in the kennels to do everything they can to protect them from a hurricane.
The real protectors of greyhounds put their life on the line for the greyhounds while the face of evil bashes them for doing so. The real protectors of greyhounds have enough food and water for a week and generators ready to go.
While people are donating money for hurricane disaster to help both people and animals, the face of evil sees disaster as a money making venture for themselves.
The face of evil had a plan, but it wasn't to protect the greyhounds. The plan was to make money from your donations. Protecting the greyhounds was never part of what they the face of evil does. It wasn't before, it isn't now and it won't be in the future.
People from all over the world are wishing the people of Florida and the greyhounds to be safe. Yet, the face of evil sees this as a money making situation. The face of evil has never once wished the people of Florida or the greyhounds they tell you they protect to be safe. The face of evil would never do that because the face of evil doesn't wish the greyhounds to be safe. If the greyhounds are safe the face of evil can't exploit a bad situation.
It is one thing to be despicable, but to be the face of evil you have to cross a line beyond despicable that most people and organizations would never cross. You have to cross the line of human decency. To be the face of evil you have to be evil to your very core, evil to the soul of your being.
That line was crossed today and if you're wondering who the face of evil is:
IT IS GREY2K
Carey went on his blog and answered me.
I answered him back.
With Face of Evil Part 2
Why did you change the caption in the picture you posted?
That caption leads people to believe this picture is a picture of the kennels in 1926, however that is a lie. Isn't it?
This is the picture Carey posted in his blog.
However, Carey added the caption. Watch. This is the same picture taken from Carey's blog by right clicking on the picture and then clicking copy image. This is what you get.
Carey, you got caught lying. Admit it, you added the caption.
The real picture that was about the 1926 hurricane that hit Florida was the picture above. The picture did have a caption added, I found it in the Great Miami Hurricane of 1926, but the caption didn't lie about what the picture was. It just said buildings destroyed in Miami Hurricane of 1926.
Carey, you seem to have a problem with pictures and lying about pictures.
You like to proclaim Grey2K as the largest protector of dogs in the country. So as the great protector you have to have a plan on moving 8000 or more dogs out of Florida. You certainly can't count on the plan the greyhound industry has of keeping them in cement block buildings that have withstood everything from Andrew to Irma. Back in 1926 those would have been wooden buildings. Building codes have changed in 90 years.
So lets move the dogs next time. Go to your blog and layout the plan to move and house 8000 dogs someplace or multiple places.. Don't forget food and water You know the industry can't be very smart for thinking if we try to move the dogs and we run out of gas in the long, long lines traveling up I-95 or I-75 the dogs will die with no A/C in the hauler.
When was the last time a greyhound died in a hurricane in Florida? There must be some since hunkering down is such a bad plan, but I don't remember seeing your story on this.
I know I have to be very specific or you will find some pet greyhounds, that you had nothing to do with getting adopted, that somehow died. So I am talking about greyhounds hunkered down at a track with the real protectors of greyhounds, the trainers and their help.
Einstein once said something to the effect of, Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. So I guess sanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting the same results.
Hurricane, hunker down, dogs all alive, hurricane, hunker down, dogs alive, hurricane, hunker down, dogs alive. Carey, as you well know I am no Einstein because as you well know my only advice to the real protectors of greyhounds would be hurricane, hunker down, dogs alive.
Everyone awaits your plan.
On the same thread I started I later found out more information and added this on a different posting.
The Face of Evil knew Irma was going to hit the west coast of Florida someplace and their good friends at Hollydogs, Sergio Cortella and his wife Sylvana Rizzi, were right in Irma's path. They are in Bonita Springs. There was no call to get their very AR Hollydogs greyhounds out. Somehow leaving these greyhounds was perfectly fine.
The ironic part is Grey2K board member Kathy Pelton's husband Ken posted that Hollydogs needs a generator. So Hollydogs has obviously lost electricity and was unprepared and is now looking for a generator.
Where is the outcry from the great protector of greyhounds?
This whole thing was a well thought out plan from the Face of Evil. If nothing happens to the dogs at the track kennels the Face of Evil got everyone stirred up and donations coming in. Should something happen to just one greyhound at a track kennel the Face of Evil would have been all over it. They were hoping for something bad to happen because that is what the Face of Evil does.
The lack of concern for the adoption groups is telling, but the lack of compassion for both human and animal is what makes you the Face of Evil. The idea of turning what was and still is catastrophic event that will linger for months and, for some years, into a money raising venture is something that few people have seen in their lifetime.
It makes you the Face of Evil.
Carey has never answered me on his blog, but he did try to prove himself right about evacuating and make one last money grab. He posted this on their FB page, I think it was.
You will see what they pasted and my response.
The Face of Evil stops at nothing. In another despicable display they made this up about evacuating the dogs.
Florida greyhound racing kennels may be hit by Hurricane Irma. At least one track has offered $5,000 to each kennel operator to evacuate. Others are reportedly staying put. 😟 For regular updates, please follow us on Facebook or Twitter
I'm sure the people here on AG know that track, in a very generous move, that gave the kennels $5000 was Derby Lane and it was on Wednesday so kennels could stock up on supplies for when they hunkered down.

I don't usually hate people but I hate Grey2K and all them. I wonder if he will say anything bad about this hurricane? Since the vote is coming soon.

Carey wouldn't dare try this stunt again. In times of crisis opponents of most anything will try and help. This was one of G2K's more despicable ploys and it backfired on them. Only their most ardent Kool-Aid drinking cult followers would think Carey was right.
The idea of putting the greyhounds in harms way for their own gain is something only someone from the dark side would even consider. There is a good chance the dogs in haulers would have died. We all saw the traffic jams on the major highways and once you run out of gas there was no place to get more. With no gas the generators for the AC to keep the dogs cool would only last as long as the batteries did.
What are the haulers going to do try and handle 40 dogs outside the hauler in the Florida heat.

Looks like the eye came ashore at Mexico Beach. 155 mph winds put Michael on the threshold of a cat 5. I think 156 or 157 is a cat 5.

Yes, I read on FB, the kennels lost power but dogs are fine. I like what you call Theil. Face of Evil. I know, if they moved the dogs out with that last Hurricane, lots of loss of dogs would have happened. Those haters don't really care about the dogs like they say they do.
