I took the dogs out for in the backyard this morning one last time before heading to work. Things were fine then I saw 3 of them playing with something. I said, is that a dog toy they are playing with? They don't usually play together with a toy. Got closer it was a ground hog. They each had a section of it trying to pull it apart. I yelled out get in the house. Thorpe ran in crying, Thorton then went in. Solstice, kept trying to get it. She has the highest prey drive out of them all.
She then went in. Looked them over, called Trish. She called the vet.
Got them to the vet. They were very lucky. Just little cuts and no big puncture wounds. It's just scary when your dogs have blood on them and attacking in the yard.
Of course the dogs where jumping up and down when I was getting their leashes on them.
So they are all fine. Thank God.
Anyone else's dog do this?
