God's Greyts Greyhound Group just had our 8th anniversary yesterday! To celebrate, we're holding a very special auction in memory of one of the greyhound world's most ardent advocates, Elsie Walck.
Elsie, who recently passed away at age 83, was a long time greyhound owner who volunteered with GPA Maryland, Make Peace with Animals, Nittany Greyhounds, Gold Coast Greyhounds and God's Greyts Greyhounds. She was a dedicated worker who, for more than 25 years, gave so much of herself to help greyhounds everywhere. Her dying wish was to have all of her greyhound belongings auctioned to benefit greyhound adoption. God's Greyts is the group she chose for this purpose to receive 100% of the proceeds. Elsie is now at the rainbow bridge greeting hundreds of greyhounds that she has helped over the years. Thanks in advance for supporting greyhound adoption with your bids, and thanks to you, Elsie!
Our group has received more than 1250 retired racers in the past 8 years and we really need some help right now! Our medical fund has been whittled away to ZERO over the last several months as more and more medical cases came into our care.
