Tell me why or why I shouldn't/should need/don't need to own a gun.
If I wanna own a gun, I'll own one. I'll sure as hell 'defend my home' too if it comes down to it.
'That never happens'
Say that when someone breaks in at 1AM, the first thing you're gonna do is call someone with a gun, and pray they get there in time.
'Guns aren't safe, they kill too many people'
With the right teaching, you can go your entire life without ever having an accident. I was taught how to handle, fire, and clean a gun by my grandfather, who was career Army. I've never had any accidents, and to this day, I'm an excellent shot. I'm not saying accidents don't happen, because they do, but accidents always happen, and yes, innocent people die, but innocent people always die. That's life and there's no stopping or changing it, and you're a fool if you think there is. The human spirit and nature are far too independent and free thinking. Some things will never change.
