What's it all about?
We wanted a summer event that kids would not have to miss school and we could celebrate adopted greyhounds being a part of our families. An event that we could hold in one central location to make it feel more like a family reunion. We put our heads together and so the event was born.
Greyhound Angels Adoption, Inc. sponsored the First Annual Greyhound Summer Festival in Lancaster, Pennsylvania from August 12 through 14, 2005. The Summer of Greyt Love was held at the Lancaster Host Resort and Convention Center. This pet friendly venue enabled us to combine fun activities for the hounds and their owners, while not ignoring the skinkids.
Well, We're Doing It Again!!!
Our first Greyhound Summer Festival was such a success, that we have scheduled our Second Annual Greyhound Summer Festival for August 18 through the 20. Please make your reservations at the Host Resort Hotel today.
