Water which is lost through sweat during exercise is vital for energy production in your muscles. Just two or three percent loss of body mass due to fluid loss can reduce your ability to exercise. For best hydration, drink fluids containing sodium, which stimulates your kidneys to retain water. If your workout low instensity and last less than an hour, all you need is water in combination with a balanced diet. A good indicator of your hydration level is the color of your urine, it should be light, if your urine looks like apple juice, keep drinking. :o
Words to Live By: Dream barriers look very high until you climb them. Suddenly they are not barries any more.
These are my words, for some of our new members I am a fitness competitor, I used to compete in bodybuilding and I did very well, but, I knew if I stayed in bodybuilding, I would have to enhance my muscles and I am not into steroids and growth hormones. I really love fitness and on November 4th I will be competing for my Pro Card, I will most likely be up again 40 plus women or more, so it is a dream for me. As always I am here to help everyone on a healthier lifestyle and to answer any fitness, health questions to get you started. I'm here for you and I am always listening, until next time, take care of your body and spirit, be good to yourself. ;D

I try to remind myself to drink more water, but I struggle with it, especially as I work out more and sweat more in the summer. :P
