Shirley Kane, the adoption coordinator of Greyhounds as Pets of NE Florida (located at the Jacksonville Kennel Club) asked me last night if I would post this. Feel free to cross-post on other boards (Houndtalk, EG, etc.), too. Jacksonville has a lot of dogs to move right now. None of them are in any danger whatsoever, but in an attempt to move dogs more quickly, she has this idea. If you are a group between Florida and Maine, accessible from I-95, and you have room for any more dogs, or even a dog, she will provide hauling (and pay for it) and write the group a check to offset vetting expenses. $80 for boys, $100 for girls. She has a guy who does hauling on this route every 2-3 weeks. Please pass this on to your groups, or any group interested. Contact Shirley for more details. www.jaxkennel.com/gap/ContactUs.asp
