Well, my daughter was sick on Saturday, so we weren't all able to go and meet our new greyhound. My husband went though and fell in love with one of them, and we're going to meet with the adoption group as soon as they let us know when to make sure he likes the kids and bring him home! He has been around a lot of other kids though and has been fine... We really need helping picking out a new name though. I feel bad about changing it, but he's only 2 yrs old, so hopefully he will learn his new name pretty quick. Any suggestions?   Thanks! Carrie ;D |

I am HORRIBLE at picking names! What is his race name and current kennel name?
BTW - Thery learn thewir new name in about a day, and most don't even answer to the one they have so it isn't a big deal.

They said he didn't race b/c he was too big. His current name is Jerry Lee.

I love that name!! I didn't change any of my pups names. I liked them all.

I have a dog I named JJ, was Jeremy. I call him JJ and he loves it!

How about Lewis? That of course being a reference to Jerry Lee Lewis, and the "L" sound might be easy for him to pick up on and learn quickly, too...?

he looks just like my friends grey "henry". I hated the kennel name for mine...crystal scrappy. We changed to Chase since he had a high prey drive. But in retrospect we should have named him crazy or squeaker. Since thats what he is and does. But he did learn his name in a few hours. And he also comes to "turkey face" which is what my b/f calls him. They have pick a name websites online try those too. But my suggestion is Zane.
