Let me introduce Amstel. She was a brood mama and is owned by Kevin and Heather Fish, two fine people in the race business. Some of you may have noticed Heather's post on another board looking for help with her 6 year old girl, who was looking for a couch. So I contacted a group and offered to foster her if they would sponsor her. They agreed so I contaced Heather and told her what I had up my sleeve. It took a while for everyone to do get the particulars in place but today she arrived! Kent is VERY pleased to have a greyhound to play with!

She is a little shy and unsure of what life in a house is all about. Hopefully that will go away soon but it could be she is a shy girl.

She spent the first day on my bed (where she also slept last night) but now prefers the dogs' bedroom. We went to the dog store and a walk downtown which she really liked. And the beach appears to agree with her too. She is really fun becasue everything is new and I get to show it to her and see that beautiful smile!
