Max will be leaving us for greener pastures this Sunday, thus ending our first foster experience. I miss him already, but DH is counting the days..... Loki is bored with the whole fostering thing....

Awe...I can imagine what its like...you did a good job...so you dont have your own grey then? Nope...just the husky, Loki. I now think, though, having had Max, that it may be helpful to have another grey in the house when you foster. He didn't seem to even realize that Loki is another dog...it was like they're different species.... Good job. :) :) Does that mean you will be doing another foster? No....we are going back to a 1-dog household for a while. Fostering is VERY hard work and for all of you who do it all the time...you have my UTMOST respect and admiration. Max doesn't get along with Loki, he's been peeing in his crate periodically, but today was the worst -- Max pooped in his crate #poop#..not his fault and I didn't blame him for it... but it was not easy to come home to after a long day at the office.... He will be SO much happier in his new home where there are other greys as well as goats, chickens and a person who is home during the day. I'm thrilled for him! I'm not going to say we'll never foster again, but we will definitely need some time......

I'm gald you gave it a try and know what it's about. When you are ready to do it again there will be plenty of greyhounds ready to come stay.
Good job!
