Here we go again. Killer storms tear though the mid-west yesterday, killing at least 23 people. The severe thunderstorms packing tornadors with hail the size of softballs, left a path of destruction across six midwestern states. Homes and business destoyed, this is just awful. Today we here in Maryland are suppose to have a severe thunderstorms with hail, ending tomorrow. Hold on to your hats, we are in for a bumpy ride. :-/

Thanks C.W. I do have a meeting tonight, but , I think I'll cancel it, just to be on the safe side, I don't want to get caught up in this mess. Its very errie outside and very still, the calm before the storm, maybe we will luck out and miss it. Plus, my house is surrended by lots of big trees, I don't need a tree on my new roof. Don't get me wrong I love my big trees, but , I do worry with storms. Did the hurricane season start yet? I hope you guys will be this summer.

We were under a Tornado Warning until 8:00 last night. We are fine, although we did have a confirmed touch down about 2 miles to the south of us!! Scary!!!

We made it though, what a storm!! Last evening around 7 p.m. the sky turned a very dark blue with orange rays from the sun and you could see the orange lightening in the distance. Than the sky darken, I mean, like night, the lightening seem like it was coming in the house, the thunder was soo loud, it made me jump, and the heavy downpour of rain, changed over to hail, size a little smaller than a golf ball and wind was very strong. We lost power for awhile. I was just holding my breathe hoping that the trees would not fall on my house!! It was a quite a storm, I was a little scared, and I'm usually pretty good with storms, since, I'm usually out working in them, accidents, shootings, overdoses, etc. I'm glad I didn't have to be out in this one. I believe we did have a tornado touch down in the southwest part of the state, by, they are waiting conformation. And , boy is it windy today!!
