Several folks guessed correctly. All of these champion racers suffered career ending injuries. Quite a legacy, I'd say. Something to be proud of. Yours, Carey Could it be that they had a minor injury and the owner decided that they would make more money as a stud than bring it back to racing. If you state that it was a carrear ending injury then you should state the injury for others to make up their minds if it was . But people like you dont, just come out with the sounds bites.

What is an "origanal" list? And please look up the definition of big words BEFORE you use them. Using words like "disinformation" incorrectly is really tiresome. Why do I bother explaining things to you? I suppose I hope one day it will sink in I guess. 8-) Until that day comes, let me help you out AGAIN: Molotov is one of the most famous sires ever who's career ended when his back leg snapped in his 7th official trip to the oval. Can you follow how that is pertinent to the thread? While you ponder that feel free to expand your knowledge of greyhounds by reading this: greyhound-data.com/d?i=154246

Why do I bother explaining things to you? Good question! Do all of us a favor, answer your own question and don't bother. Nobody asked you to.

Try to bring in things we can discuss among our selves and stop being such a bigot to stop discussion.

Disinfomation
Twenty-Five Ways To Suppress Truth: The Rules of Disinformation
"Various types of belief can be implanted in many people after brain function has been deliberately disturbed by accidentally or deliberately induced fear, anger or excitement. Of the results caused by such disturbances, the most common one is temporarily impaired judgement and heightened suggestibility. Its various group manifestations are sometimes classed under the heading of "herd instinct" , and appear most spectacularly in war time, during severe epidemics, and in all similar periods of common, which increase anxiety and so individual or mass suggestibility." Dr William Sargant, a psychiatrist at the Tavistock Institute, in his 1957 book, Battle For The Mind.

If so, I'm ready to accept your apology for the assertion that I don't have a factual basis for my position. I'll ignore the reference to "people like you." Yours, Carey

This I think is your Problem your contempt for all others makes you unable to admit that others have a point of view and an inabilty to even have the brains to understand. You are sad and bordering on the edge of a mental breakdown. lighten up before its to late for youself.

My claim is that these dogs suffered career ending injuries.
My source is the Greyhound Hall of Fame, which clearly states in each case that the greyhound in question suffered a career ending injury.
If you have facts which suggest otherwise, then please present them.
Make sure that you copy the Greyhound Hall of Fame - I'm sure they will want to do a correction.
Yours, Carey
