I'm Patricia from Windsor Mill, Maryland and on my way to adopting a greyhound, I have my home visit in one week. I am a proud mom of a 16 pound maine coon cat, Toby, he is a BIG buddle of fur, he just turned eight. I hope that he wil like the new addition. I am also a group fitness instructor , I teach Pilates and power sculpt classes I 'm also am a personel trainer. In Nov. I will be completing in the Maryland State Bobybuilding and Fitness show its a NPC show. Wish me luck. I'm glad to be on board!

Hi Patricia, Welcome to the wonderful world of greyhounds, there is no going back once you have been bitten by the greyhound bug.

Hi Patricia,
good luck on your home visit. I'm so happy you are adopting a grey, you will certainly have tons of support from Trish and Tom and I'm certainly willing to help any way I can.

Do you know if you are getting a boy or girl? It really doesn't matter, there is nothing like greyhound love.

I'm hoping to get a female, she has been off the track for about 3 weeks now, she is a small girl , all black with a white chest and approx. 50-55lbs. I was told she is cat safe which is a must. but, they are all so cute and good dogs, so ,I'm sure I'll get the one that is right for me and Toby, my big maine coone cat who is a big bundle of fluff and afraid of his own shadow, but he is my baby!
