Kennels For Sale

We want to start our own boarding kennel/doggie daycare. Does anyone know a good way to go about this? Know of any for sale. Looking in MD, PA, WV, VA.
We also want to board greyhounds for local rescue groups.

What a cool business!! Sorry, I live on the other coast and don't know of any kennels for sale. Our group did a fund raisier for our vet to purchase kennels. She operates Almost Home for Hounds in Colorado. I don't remember how much they were but we purchased 6 to 8 banks of kennels.

You could contact the tracks in WV and inquire if they could help you out. They'll at least give you the name and number of the company that makes them. Also, call the Geneva track and see if they are selling some of theirs. Their website is www.genevagreyhounds.com
They have some in the adoption kennel that are single story instead of the doubles. We had the maint. guys cut them like that for us. You might be able to get them after all the dogs are moved out. They are easy to take apart and put back together for easy transport. Just make sure you don't have any screws left over. :) :)

Just wanted to bump this again.

We are still looking. hmm WV may not be too far eh Trish. Any kennels in the surrounding states of MD that might be for sale. We were thinking of just doing a general dog boarding but I thought to also do greyhound rescuse i.e. if local groups are filled they could board with us, if we are close to a track, we could board the racing dogs ;D and also board the puppies too. Also, if a track is closing and dogs need to go we could possibly take them til they are adopted out.
We really want to do this and also help out as much as we could for the greyhounds.
