thanks! yes, her tail is black with a white tip. her tail is really long, actually. she's an odd color; kinda like coffee with too much milk in it, but she's got black in there as well. her littermates and parents were black; talk about recessive genes! here's another pic where you can see more of her tail:  sully |

She reminds me of our Paquita (galgo/bordercolliemix), colour wise.
Paquita was born in a litter of all black and white pups, she was the only blond/white one.
At that time her tail was also black and there was a lot of black over her shoulders and down her spine.
Now, at the age of three, she only has some black in her tail left.

she's a girl, but thanks! her racing name was My Charlie, and since she knew her name, i kept it.
