Chev-Chev and Devo (Devin) eat Nutro large breed and Murph-a-roo eats Nutro large breed Senior. Nutro claims the large breed formula supplies all the necessary nutrients (both in quality and quantity) without feeding too much carbs/fats which can happen with other brands due to the large feeding amount needed for a large dog. Nutro also guarantees a full shiny coat. My boys love the food, we do not have any big D problems and they do have greyt coats. I add organic yogurt, cottage cheese or sometimes broth to their food. What types of veggies are being added to the food? Canned? Any raw?

Ours love the Nutro Breath Treats. Suzy loves sliced carrots. We also put in their food, peas, small carrots, fat free yougart, , microwaved peanut butter with water when they won't eat.

I've had Camper on Nutro Max for a long time and it's been good to us, but with his teeth we needed to kick things up a notch, so he's now on Nutro - Dental (can't recall the exact name). It's working out just fine, but then Campers never really been fussy. Lucky me :)

I feed Nutro Large Breed to Otis and Kieran. They both like it and their coats are shiny. Otis' poops improved a lot when we went to the Large Breed instead of the regular Lamb and Rice formula. Kieran can eat almost anything and her poops are always perfect so she eats what he eats. I add a little grated cheese, yoghurt, or if they seem to be having an off-day.

Hi Tom! Have you tried shreded cheese or a raw egg? That could help or a bit of gravy.
My guys eat Nature's Variety in the morning- they have a kibble that is coated in freeze dried raw and bound with Tapioca. When Thun lost his teeth he really didn't want to eat so we tried this- once it soaks it smells um, good I guess? ???Anyhow- they all love this. In the evening they get raw. This keeps it economical and easy to feed all three. I feed ground up raw to all three and Billy and Skye get a turkey neck and chicken necks for dental maintanence, Skye, chicken and Billy Turkey. For me, this is so far working the best and since thun is eating, I am happy, happy! ::)

I feed my dogs Innova EVO, which is grain free. I suppliment this with raw, fresh foods. Picky dogs rarely turn that down...

We feed Chase Eukanuba maintenance. I mix in yogurt. His favorite is anything with a bit of chicken broth on top. He loves fruit too. Watermelon is his favorite fruit. But he goes for apples, oranges, plums. He doesn't like veggies. I have tried but no go. He will pretty much eat anything if we let him.

D2P, You said in your OP that you were feeding Costco. Is it the Kirkland brand? I checked it out the other day and the ingredients is exactly what's in Nutro. Did you like Costco food?
