Tonight when I got home from work, I took the dogs out. Suzy and Lincoln and Milky were running and playing. Then they all did their business. As they were heading in, I noticed that Suzy had a big cut or wound on her left upper part of her chest. It wasn't bleeding very much but was bad. I called Trish and we called our vet. Suzy was still wagging her tail and happy through this. We got an appt with our vet and she is staying the night. They will have to do surgery to stitch up the wound. Say prayers for our sweet Suzy.  |

Poor Baby!!! I hope she gets home today and will have a thorough recovery.
Fluff her bed and get the puppy treats!!

Thanks. The vet called us last night and said they will be doing the surgery today, since our vet was still doing an emergency. They said it would be  to do it today and our vet can watch her all day today. They also are going to do a dental. We will pick her up and Zeus up later today after work. Zeus is getting his dental today too. |

Poor Suzy. Its also Suzy who gets hurt or sick. She will be fine and home tonight with the others. Oh poor baby, just give her lots of hugs!

She is out of surgery now and doing good. We'll be picking her up after work and will let you know more.

Suzy is home. She is a little groogy. Her stitches look real good. She had her dental and had to have 2 teeth pulled.
She ate a good dinner of soft dog can food and had some water. She is now resting on her dog bed.
Get some rest sweetie.
BTW- When we got home, Trish let out Zeus and Suzy on the leash and they nearly dragged her around the backyard. They wanted to run and play.

She is doing just fine. Her stitches and cut area is healing. She is eating much better. I guess the 2 teeth they took out was making her not want to eat cause she is eating very good now. She goes back to the vet next week to get her stitches out. |
