GUR help needed!!

Well... Ladies and gentlemen. We have another GUR going on here. This is for Janie, another Birmingham hound that is patiently waiting in Piedmont, South Carolina with KennelMom(Heather). She is going to Canada to live with Billy_Thundersmom(Trish of dog dayz). We are trying a GUR first, if that doesn't work out well then we'll figure something else out. I've yet to 'coordinate' a GUR this way so I don't know how things will turn out, but I'm sure we can do it if we can get dogs to CA!! Jane will be traveling to Abilene, KS on June 8th-10th and will be leaving from there. I'll tentatively start this GUR at 8am on June 10th, if I need to move it to the 11th thats fine too. Here are the legs, now those of you in this area I know you hardly get to do GURS so here's your chance to shine! If you are able to help out, please pm me with your contact information so I can give it to people that may not be on GT if need be. I promise no hate mail.

Leave at 7am on Saturday, June 10th.
Abilene, KS to Hays, KS 1 hr 50 minutes
Hays, KS to Burlington, CO(KS/CO border) 2 hrs 35 minutes. in Hays at 9am
Burlington, CO to Byers, CO 1 hr 43 minutes in Burlington at 11:30
Byers, CO to Cheyenne, WY 1 hr 59 minutes in Byers at 1pm
Cheyenne, WY to Casper, WY 2 hrs 34 minutes in Cheyenne at 3pm

overnight here. I have to do this otherwise Trish would be going to Helena at midnight!

Start Sunday June 11th at 7am.
Casper, WY to Sheridan, WY 2 hrs 10 minutes in Casper at
Sheridan, WY to Billings, MT 1 hr 53 minutes in Sheridan at 10am
Billings, MT to Bozeman, MT 2 hrs 3 minutes in Billings at noon
Bozeman, MT to Helena, MT 1 hr 52 minutes in Bozeman at 2pm
Helena, MT home. In Helena at 4pm.

Trish can go a bit further in from Helena, if needed.

I've laid out a temporary plan:

6/6 Leave my house and drive to Atlanta and spend the night at a friend's house (600 miles)
6/7 Drive to Kennelmom's and get Janie. On to Maryville, TN and sleep at a friend's house. (350 miles)
6/8 Drive to Paducah, KY and see a friend, then on to St Louis for the night at a friend's house (500 miles)
6/9 Drive from STL to MPLS, MN Spend a couple nights at friend's house and see my sister. (650 miles)
6/12 Drive from MPLS to Dayton, WY. spend the night at friend's house (900 miles)
6/13 Drive from Sara's to Bigfork. (600 miles)
6/14 Janie is ready when mom can make it! Mom expects it to be a 6/17 gotcha day.

Total trip: 7 days, 3600 miles

Any EGers along the route that would like to meet the lucky hound please send me a PM or post here and we'll try and arrange it!

On the way home from Montana I take a different route and I KNOW Stella wants to see B'Ham

Thats a lot of driving , but your young , on 6 - 8 you will be in Paduach where ??? but I might have jury duty wont know untill the 6 .--Dan

Yes. The woman I know is Patience, she's there most everyday with at least two of her 8 whippets. If you told her you know me from the greyhound boards and that I have a big mouth(and talk too much) she will agree. She is the manager of Whippet World, which doesn't allow the race subject to be brought up. Of course I do it anyway so she has to yell at me now and then and sometimes delete my posts.
